Strawberry Shortcake is throwing a party for her little sister Apple
Dumpling's first birthday. After making a list of the supplies they'll
need, Strawberry Shortcake, Apple Dumpling, their cantankerous cat Custard,
and their overly enthusiastic puppy Pupcake consult the map and head out
into Strawberry land in search of things like juice, cake, and party hats.
The adventuresome group meets lots of new friends like Gingersnap, Orange
Blossom, and Huckleberry Pie, and learns to value friendship and diversity
along the way.
